Is there an oil free moisturizer you can use when you have combination skin?
This was the question that Katie had been trying to answer for years.
The problem
She was 52 years old, had combination skin, and just a little bit of rosacea on her cheeks.
She'd tried quite a few moisturizers over the past 4 decades...
And while a few of them had worked well...
None of them did the job well enough for her to feel satisfied.
So, she was always trying new lotions and creams to see if she could find one that she could depend on.
She would also have flare-ups at unexpected times where her cheeks would change from slightly pink to Christmas red in about no time flat.
So she always had a prescription lotion in her bag to help calm her skin down.
The incident
A few years ago, Katie went to a friends house for a BBQ...
It was a hot, humid summer day, and she had a great time talking and catching up with old friends.
She went inside at one point and saw her face in the mirror and was horrified!
Her cheeks were so dry and red...
That she looked like she had scabs on her cheeks.
(Goes to show how strong her friendship was because no one had said anything)
But Katie was very embarrassed, and she rummaged in her bag looking for her prescription moisturizer.Â
Only it wasn't there.Â
So she started looking through the cabinets in the bathroom at her friend's house...
But the only thing she saw was a bottle of the Oil Free Moisturizer from Swiss Botany.
At first, she ignored it because she thought it was hand cream, and she needed something for her face.
But after looking around for almost 10 minutes...
She decided to do a spot test.
As soon as she opened it, she realized that it wasn't hand cream.
It was a facial moisturizer.
Exactly what she needed.
Her spot test went well, so she decided to apply it to her cheeks to calm them down.
The Conclusion
To Katie's surprise, her skin started calming down almost immediately.
After waiting about 10 minutes after putting on the Oil Free Moisturizer...
Katie's complexion had calmed significantly.Â
Her cheeks were back to their mild rosacea-pink.
As soon as she stepped out of the bathroom, her friend came up to her and said,
"Katie, you need to use this moisturizer I found. I think the heat is getting to your cheeks because they were really red."Â
Katie told her friend that she had just tried it and they could both see how her cheeks had calmed down and were now back to normal.
